These boozy frozen treats are perfect for those hot summer days! Plus yogurt and fruit, so they must be healthy, right? Lastly, they’re popsicles with rum, need I say more? (These aren’t for children). I had some Freshwater Huron White Rum from New Holland Brewing sitting around, and a bunch of fresh berries, so I decided to take action.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blackberries
  • 2 cups of blueberries
  • 2 cups of White Rum
  • 2 cups of honey greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey

Step 1

First take your berries and cover with white rum. I used a glass tupperware container so I could use the lid to seal. Then place in the refrigerator and soak for 2-3 hours.

Step 2

When the berries have sat for a bit, take them out of the refrigerator, and drain the rum. I saved the leftover rum and mixed with lemonade for a tasty cocktail.

Step 3

Take a fork and mash the berries up a bit.

Step 4

In a separate bowl mix the yogurt, milk, and honey.

Step 5

Take your Popsicle molds and layer them with the yogurt mixture, and then the smashed soaked rum berries. Place the molds in the freezer overnight.

Step 6

When ready to eat, run the Popsicle under hot water for a few minutes to loosen, and then enjoy!
