Michigan makes some of the best craft beverages in the country. We think more people should know about it — and that’s exactly why Drink Michigan exists.
Our Story
Back in 2011, two friends started Drink Michigan with a simple idea: shine a light on the incredible beer, wine, and spirits being made right here at home. At the time, Michigan’s craft beverage scene was just finding its footing, and we were proud to be early cheerleaders — visiting new taprooms, tasting rooms, and distilleries before most people knew they existed.
A lot has changed since then. The industry has exploded, and Michigan is now recognized as one of the top craft beverage states in the country. We’d like to think we did our small part.
What started as a passion project has grown into something bigger: a full directory of Michigan breweries, wineries, distilleries, bars, and beyond — built to help you find your next favorite pour, wherever you are in the state.

Support Local. Every bottle you buy from a Michigan producer puts money back into our communities and into the hands of the hardworking people who craft these products. We’re here to make it easier to discover them, visit them, and drink them.
Give Back. We believe being part of a community means contributing to it. Drink Michigan is committed to supporting causes that matter — because a rising tide floats all boats, and good people deserve good neighbors.
Have Fun. Seriously. This is a site about drinking great stuff in a great state. We never take ourselves too seriously, and we never judge your taste buds. Drink what you love. That’s the whole point.
