The love of craft beer is spreading! Running off the success of beer weeks in other cities such as Detroit and Ann Arbor, we are excited to announce that Lansing will be getting it’s own beer week August 19th through the 25th!

Michigan Summer Beer Festival weekend has to be one of my favorites of the summer. This past weekend I crossed off a bucket list item by attending the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. GABF, as it’s most often referred, celebrated it’s 30th anniversary this year, featuring over 1900 beers from over 400 U.S. breweries, making it the largest beer festival in the country.

Last Tuesday I had the pleasure of accompanying Joe Hakim of The Hungry Dudes to Foran’s Grand Trunk Pub’s monthly Michigan craft beer dinner series. I love Foran’s and frequent the Detroit establishment for both their awesome selection of Michigan beer, and the beautiful and historic interior.

This past Friday we decided to celebrate Michigan Craft Beer Month in style and attend the 14th annual Michigan Summer Beer Festival.
