Did you know that you can enjoy a unique camping experience at several wineries, breweries, distilleries, and farms in Michigan? Thanks to Harvest Hosts, RV owners (Class A, Class B, Class C) with motorhomes, fifth wheel trailers, travel trailers, toy haulers, camper vans, truck campers, and schoolies can stay overnight at these locations without any camping fees.
Typically, you will park in the establishment’s parking lot, although some hosts offer fields with breathtaking views of the vineyards or surrounding landscapes. With Harvest Hosts, you can explore various stunning locations around the country, not just Michigan, and indulge in libations from the host without worrying about driving back home.
Once you sign up for the membership, you can use the website or mobile app to search for available overnight stays. Many of the hosts allow you to book your stay online, including same-day bookings, which is perfect for those who aren’t great at planning ahead. Most locations only accommodate a limited number of vehicles per night, ensuring a more private experience.
For $99 per year, the classic membership offers unlimited access to thousands of unique and unforgettable locations across North America, without any camping fees. However, Harvest Hosts encourages members to spend at least $30 at the establishment where they’re staying for the evening, which isn’t an issue when it’s a Michigan winery, brewery, or distillery.
At the time of writing, the following Michigan establishments are Harvest Hosts, with new locations continuously being added.
