It’s International Stout Day, and we’re looking for Michigan’s Favorite Stout!
As the temperature outside begins to drop, we think of sweaters and boots and comfort food and STOUTS! The cold air makes us crave a big, rich, chocolate-y beer that warms you up from the inside.
Stouts have a long and rich history, and come in a variety of styles – oatmeal stouts, dry stouts, imperial stouts – and Michigan brewers are making some of the best in the world.
So, to celebrate one of our favorite beer styles in the world, we want to know what you think Michigan’s Favorite Stout is. Last year, Right Brain Brewery’s CEO Stout took the title and was featured on our site. Will they repeat, or will someone new take the crown?
Below you’ll find a list of every Michigan-made Stout we could think of – this includes Imperials and Bourbon Barrels – we wanted to be as comprehensive as possible. We do want your votes in this poll, but we hope you’ll also use this list as a guide to explore all of Michigan’s stouts!
Cast your vote for your 5 favorites (because you can’t pick just one!). Don’t see your favorite? Write it in in the “other” section – those votes count too! We’ll keep the poll open for a few days, then announce the winner!
Get to voting (remember, you can cast up to 5 votes), and let your friends know!
