Right Brain Brewery is one my favorite new finds in Traverse City. The pub has a laid back, eccentric feel that makes you want to just kick back with a beer and take it all in. From the art from local artists decorating the walls, to the giant, sparkly, winged pig hanging from the ceiling, you can’t help but wander around to see it all.
Their beer menu is just as eclectic as their décor. For example, this past February, they rolled out their Pie Whole beer – made with 75 whole Caramel Apple pies from Grand Traverse Pie Company. You read that right – whole pies (crust and all) go into the beer-making process!
Right Brain is at it again with a brand new Pie Whole beer. This one pays homage to the Cherry Festival thattakes over Traverse City every summer. Cherry Pie Whole is made with 50 Cherry Crumb pies from Grand Traverse Pie Company! The beer will debut this Friday, July 1 at 6pm in the pub. It will be poured as a premium beer – 12oz pours for $6.50.
Along with the special tapping, Right Brain will debut their new tap handles. Designed by Nielsen Design Group in Traverse City, it took 9 months to come up with the handles. These aren’t like anything you’ve seen before. They are whimsical and playful, like the pub itself.
If you haven’t checked out Right Brain Brewery yet, it’s a must-stop on your next trip to Traverse City!
