This is kind of exciting, 7 Monks Taproom in Traverse City, Michigan was chosen to host the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company Beer Camp Across America Tap Takeover. Phew, that was a lot to say! The event will be on July 18th, with all kegs tapped at 4:00 pm.
Why is this event so special? Sierra Nevada partnered with 12 of the best breweries in the country to make a once in a life time collaboration 12 pack. Michigan’s own Bell’s Brewery is one of the collaborators with Maillard’s Odyssey Imperial Dark Ale.
Other noted breweries include Firestone Walker, 3 Floyds, New Glarus, and Cigar City.
7 Monks is one of only four taprooms in the state of Michigan to pour all 12 of these exciting collaboration beers. As if we all needed another reason to head over to 7 Monks (one of my favorite Traverse City spots). Make sure to get there early on July 18th and tell us how amazing all the beers are!
