We are very excited to present the 3 finalists in our first ever Drink Michigan Craft Cocktail Contest! These 3 cocktail recipes received the most votes over the last week, and will now move on to the finals, where a panel of judges will taste each one, and judge them in 4 categories:
- Taste
- Appearance
- Uniqueness
- Use of Michigan Ingredients
The judging will take place later this week, and we will announce the winner on Monday, September 26. The winner of the Drink Michigan Craft Cocktail Contest will be featured at The Henry Ford Museum’s November Local Roots dinner, 2 tickets to the dinner, a $50 Visa gift card, and will be added to the menu at Cliff Bell’s – one of Detroit’s premiere cocktail bars.
Be sure to check out all of the cocktail recipes submitted, and give them a try (or even invent your own!). The feedback and participation was so overwhelming this year, so you can be sure we’ll do this again. When we do, we’re going to want to hear from you!
