Garden Bay Winery is one of just a handful of wineries located in Michigan’s U.P. with tasting rooms located in Munising, Mackinaw City and Cooks (Hwy U.S. 2 between Escanaba and Manistique). GBW is home to award winning grape and fruit wine and has won international awards every year since the winery opened in 2009, and was honored to receive a Best in Class Fruit Wine award in Michigan’s Wine & Spirits competition in 2011.
Garden Bay wine is made from Michigan fruit and owned and operated by Yoopers who are proud to make some of the best wine the U.P. and Michigan has to offer.
You’ll find a nice variety of wine including specialty wines that are uniquely Garden Bay (for example, you’ll find Northern Lights Out blackberry, Garden Riot, blend of four berries and Blueberry Buzz, our version of Michigan blueberry wine with a kick). Wine made at Garden Bay Winery is made in very small batches for quality control. We’re small, but good!
