Needed to throw together this supper yummy cheddar jalapeno bread made with Bell’s Pale Ale to go with a beer cheese soup made with the same beer. It was extremely easy to make and went along great with the soup.
Ingredients
- 3 cups of flour
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 fresh jalapenos
- 1 bottle of Bell's Pale Ale
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, cheese, and chopped jalapenos(without the seeds).
Step 2
Add in the beer.
Step 3
Put the mixture into a greased loaf pan, and top with melted butter. Cook for about and hour and a half.
